The FM 1425 project aims to improve the transportation infrastructure within Willacy County, enhancing safety and accessibility for the local community. Foremost Paving is undertaking a comprehensive rehabilitation of this vital 1.94-mile stretch, focusing on both durability and modernization to meet current standards. The project scope includes:

• Full-depth reconstruction of the existing asphalt roadway to ensure long-term resilience and performance
• Grading and lime treatment of the subgrade to stabilize and support the roadway
• Cement treatment of the flexible base for enhanced strength and durability
• Application of new asphalt, driveway installations, and bridge rail retrofitting to support seamless and safe connectivity
• Installation of drainage structures, including culvert crossings and S.E.T.s (safety end treatments), to improve water management and minimize roadway wear
• Placement of striping and raised pavement markers to ensure clear guidance and visibility for drivers
