The Superintendent (Heavy Civil Highway) is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of highway and heavy civil construction projects. This role involves coordinating site operations, ensuring project specifications and quality standards are met, and leading a team of foremen and construction workers to achieve successful project completion. The Superintendent is key in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
The Foreman (Heavy Civil Highway) is responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations on highway and heavy civil construction projects. This role involves coordinating work activities, ensuring project specifications and safety standards are met, and supervising a team of construction workers to achieve timely and high-quality project completion.
Operates equipment used to grade excavation and embankment, base and other materials. May blade haul roads and do other general motor grader work and perform finish grade work to bluetops or other close specification control. This work is subject to strict inspection and must conform closely to specifications. Operates heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life.
The Crane Operator is responsible for operating cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites or other job sites. This role requires precise operation of cranes, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication to ensure efficient and safe lifting and positioning of materials. (NCCCO Certified Preferred)
The Excavator Operator is responsible for operating heavy excavator equipment to perform tasks such as digging, grading, and material handling on construction sites. This role requires precise and skilled operation of excavators to ensure efficient, safe, and effective completion of excavation and earth-moving tasks.
The Carpenter/Form Builder is responsible for constructing and assembling formwork and frameworks for concrete structures, as well as performing general carpentry tasks. This role involves interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and ensuring precise and durable formwork to support concrete pours and other construction needs.
The Concrete Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the preparation,pouring, and finishing of concrete on construction sites. This role involves working with concrete to construct foundations, pavements, walls, and other structures, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to safety and project specifications.
The Loader/Backhoe Operator is responsible for operating both loader and backhoe equipment to perform a variety of tasks such as excavation, loading, and material handling on construction sites, roadworks, or other job sites. This role requires skilled operation of heavy machinery to ensure efficient and safe completion of projects, while adhering to safety standards and operational procedures.
The Front End Loader Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment, specifically a front loader, to move, load, and transport materials on construction sites. The role requires skilled operation of the front loader to ensure efficient and safe material handling while adhering to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
